On Texas A&M's first-ever study abroad trip to Antarctica, grad student Alyssa Schaechinger ‘24 captured the continent's picturesque wildlife and vast, icy expanses through high-end photo and video equipment from the Texas A&M Libraries' Tech Bar.

The Libraries will once again distribute eclipse viewing glasses to Aggie students for the total eclipse on April 8. A limited distribution will take place March 25-March 28.

Exhibition: 25 Years of Collecting at Cushing Memorial Library

A look into Texas A&M's Cushing Memorial Library & Archives' extensive collections that span cultures, geography, and time will be on display at "25 Years of Collecting," an exhibition at Cushing from Oct. 27, 2023 - April 8, 2024.

Digital Collection Highlights

Berger Cloonan collection sample

The Berger-Cloonan Collection of Decorated Papers contains more than 20,000 items representing five centuries of paper production and decoration from across the globe and is one of the most extensive collections of its kind.

Owens Music Collection Sample

This collection contains sound recordings made by William A. Owens during the late 1930s to early 1940s, while he was a professor of English at the Agricultural & Mechanical College of Texas.

Forest Radio Collection

The radio programs in this collection were produced between approximately 1946 and 1959 as part of the Cooperative Forest Fire Prevention (CFFP) Campaign.
