About to Graduate?

Return all borrowed items (books, journals, media, maps, locker keys, private study room keys, etc.). If items are not returned before graduation, the cost of the items will be billed to your student account. This could block you from receiving transcripts in the future.

Check your 'My Library Record'. Pay any fines listed (If you are appealing fines, please submit appeals 3+ weeks before you graduate.)

See your post-graduation TAMU Library use options.

  • The library does not keep a record of materials previously checked out
  • The only permanent record of past check-outs are those with fines or fees.

  • The Texas Open Records Act, as amended in 1993, protects the identity of the individual library user from public scrutiny while allowing law enforcement officials access to such information by court order or subpoena, under a narrowly defined condition (Chapter 552 of the Government Code, Section 3 (a) (24)). Additionally, the library may be required to release record associated with Patriot Act investigations.
