New Search Offers Single-Search Access

Marketing and Communications | June 08, 2012

The University Libraries’ new improved Search offers one-stop access to everything in both library catalogs and much more. In a single search, library users can view results from LibCat, the Medical Sciences Library catalog, the Digital Repository, e–journals, databases, and research guides, as well as millions of articles from publishers.

The new search provides access to articles from major sources including:

· American Institute of Physics

· BioMed

· CAB International

· Ebrary

· ERIC

· HathiTrust

· IEEE

· JSTOR

· MIT Press

· Modern Language Association

· Oxford University Press

· Project MUSE

· Web of Science

Search provides the ability to narrow results in a number of ways including online availability, specific library, and a variety of formats. With Search, you can link to online full text (if available), check to see if print copies are available from one of the University Libraries, and request items through Get it for me.

Searching is available from the Libraries’ home page or an online search box page.
