Get it for me Service Replaces Library Recall

To expedite library user requests, the Texas A&M University Libraries will no longer ask users to submit a recall request if the desired book is checked out. Instead, they can simply click the Get it for me button from the online catalog, and the Libraries will get it from another library.

“We can often get it from another library quicker than waiting for the user to return the recalled item,” explained Lan Yang, interim associate dean for Collection and Technical Services. “We hope this change will improve our timely delivery service to students, faculty and staff,” she added.
